Rush and hot shot are the same job to us, and we don't split them into different charges. The vehicle leaves for your pickup immediately rather than joining a route, drives straight to the destination, and stops for nothing else. When a line is down or a filing is due, it is the service that pays for itself before the driver gets back. Hot shot moves are awarded on capacity — call and we'll tell you straight away whether we can take it.
A line goes down in Worcester at 2pm; the replacement part is sitting in Nashua. We have a driver moving within minutes, the part is on site by 4:15, and the second shift runs as scheduled.
